So much faster and easier than TurboTax or H&R Block. Been expat for over 10 years and so glad I found this. Filed both FEIE and FTC this year. Just choose FEIE and if there is overage, it will apply FTC automatically. Also automatically converts currency so I just put in my local income streams and didn’t have to think twice about it. Superb.

Clear instructions, easy interface. I moved away from H&R Block because they did not allow for e-filing of forms that are relevant to expat filers, and Expatfile was able to have my return e-filed. The IRS acknowledged receipt of my return within 2 days of e-filing, exactly as Expatfile advised.

This made things way easier than H&R Block and Turbotax. Last year in 22 my taxes were outrageous and even though I paid H&R Block to provide me with all the proper documents, they did not. Expatfile cut my taxes in half... Well almost in half and provided me with documents necessary. I also like that there is audit protection. So glad I found this company.

I’m an expat which makes doing taxes in my own or even with regular software a bit complicated. I was hesitant to use this company but the software was on par with H&R block only it was specifically tailored to my needs. Helped me figure out my FEIE and was super quick and easy. 10/10 recommend.

Filing expat taxes was the bane of my existence. I struggled through using H&R Block's horrible service. Happened to come across this and thought I would give it a try. It recommended I take the FTC... which I hadn't done in the past (FEIE) and was uncertain about what I should use. Talked to the chat worker Matthew -- recommended I use the FTC -- low and behold I get a refund! Also, allows for e-filing for a great price. Excellent service, fast, easy and responsive chat feature. Highly recommend! They gained a longtime customer.

I used H&R Block's expat file system last year and not only was it was more confusing, it was also extremely expensive. Expatfile has a pretty reasonable price, audit protection, and it very easy to use (even as someone whose first time paying taxing was as an expat lol). Will definitely use again next year if I stay out of the country! :)

Such an easy process! Completed my simple return in under 15 mins, directed me to FBAR also easily sorted. Much easier, user friendly, and more reasonably priced than H&R Block. Will use again for future!

Our experience with Expatfile was relatively painless and simple, far, far better than my experience with H&R Block last year. I especially want to note their excellent customer service. I had a question bothering me after I finished filing, so sent them an email. I was astonished that Mathew got back to me within 30 minutes and answered my question. Great service!

I got stuck at a certain point doing my tax return on Expatfile. I had quite a few questions. All my questions were answered, and I've been able to submit my tax return to IRS, as well as my FBAR. I have found Expatfile easy to use, and extremely reassuring with all the easy-to-understand lay person’s messages the software provides along the way. This is the first time I’ve ever submitted my US tax return online, and I was super nervous about it. I was going to use H&R Block, but their advisor made it all sound so complicated and scared me off!

So great and simple! Used H&R Block for years and got errors each time with foreign earned income as an expat. Their rates rocketed to $250 and so I looked for a cheaper option and Expatfile is brilliant! Took me 5 minutes, no errors, and was $99. Really happy and will continue to use each year and recommend to other.

I switched to Expatfile after several years of collaboration with H&R Block. The procedure is intuitive (a simple wizard workflow) with detailed explanations at each step. During the e-file submission into IRS, I needed additional expert advice and Expatfile's support was stellar. They went to the length of reviewing my previous year's tax papers (done through H&R Block) and advise me on the best way forward. Could have not wished more!

I am working in China and I was clueless about how to get started with filing my international taxes. I tried TurboTax, H&R Block, and even the IRS website. I was unsuccessful because they all wanted documents that I didn't have. Expatfile was able to complete my international taxes easily with the documents I did have and they even helped me to figure out the currency exchange. I am so happy that I found Expatfile because they really took the stress out of completing my taxes.

This service is phenomenal. It seriously took about 10 minutes to do my entire tax return, and all of the steps were crystal clear and easy and understandable. It was worth every dollar of the $99 to save the time and stress. Before I found Expatfile, I had wasted a few hours trying to get TurboTax and H&R Block and all the others to accommodate my foreign income, but those sites are clearly focused on the typical domestic US tax return and only include foreign income options as an afterthought with confusing explanations. It was so frustrating. But with Expatfile, it was so easy and stress-free.

By far the easiest software to complete taxes for expats, in the past I had used H&R block, this was my first time using EXPATFILE and I found the process less time consuming and very straight forward, their customer service as well is very responsive and helpful, going forward while leaving abroad will keep using them.

The tax service is simply the best worldwide. I was impressed with the speed. It took me 15 minutes to complete my taxes and file online with IRS. It put H&R Block to shame - the Blockheads - who can't even get your taxes filed with the IRS in 3 to 5 days! I will use your tax service again next year! Thank you Hank. Your are my hero!

I used Expatfile last year, but had to paper file my return. This year I tried using H&R Block and they were unable to help in time so I decided to give Expatfile another try and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to e-file right away - I even got an acceptance from the IRS within a few minutes.
